The following steps will ensure the safe + proper use of our candles:

Never leave a burning candle unattended- Extinguish all candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep. Be sure your wick ember is no longer glowing.

When lighting for the first time burn until wax melts across the entire surface to the sides of the vessel (this prevents tunneling, and creates an even burn for the duration of the candle’s ‘life’) This may take up to 2-4 hours.

Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.

Burn candles out of reach of children + pets.

Protect your surfaces. Place on a heat resistant surface- This will help prevent heat damage to underlying surfaces and prevent glass containers from breaking.

Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.

Do not place candles near a window or draft- Your candle will not burn properly and you may experience rapid and uneven flames.

Trim wick to 1/4in before each lighting- Trim before each burn to promote an even burn, steady flame and limit sooting/mushrooming of wick.

Don’t burn a candle all the way to the bottom. We recommend leaving 1/2in of wax in the container.

Always snuff out the candle. Do not blow out

Keep the wax pool clear and devoid of matches and other debris to avoid flaring

I know you like it hot but keep your hands to yourself! Do not touch the jars when hot.
