CANDLE FAQ
WHAT ARE DIEM B. CANDLES MADE FROM?
We use a proprietary blend of soy wax, coconut wax, and a small percentage of paraffin wax. We like the all natural renewable qualities of soy and coconut waxes but the hot throw of the paraffin.
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INGREDIENTS?
We source all of our ingredients from companies here in the US.
HOW LONG DO THE CANDLES LAST?
8.5oz | Burn Time 40-45 hours
Our candles are formulated for optimal scent throw, but are not overwhelming! Great for small to medium-sized rooms. If used in a larger space, two candles might be needed.
SHOULD I TRIM THE WICK AFTER BURNING?
The simple answer is yes. After the candle has cooled down of course, please trim your wick to about ¼". Cotton Wicks burn best with frequent attention to keeping your wick to the right length. Burn times will be increased with proper care.
CAN I REUSE MY CANDLE JARS?
Why yes you can! Once there is about 1/4 inch of wax left, stop using the candle. Use caution and care when removing the remaining wax, wicks and any labeling. We recommend turning your oven to the lowest setting (150F to 170F), lining a sheet or pie pan with foil, and turning your candle container upside down onto the sheet. You can place it in the oven and it will quickly melt the remaining wax down into the foil. USE EXTREME CAUTION: The candle container may be hot for a bit, so we recommend using a thick towel or oven mitts to move it. Clean the jars with alcohol to remove any remaining wax.
Note: we assume no liability for candle containers or subsequent results of reuse by the consumer, once purchased.
